About Kitchen Renovation Kitchener

What we do

We renovate kitchens, bathrooms and basements for homeowners across Waterloo Region, and we build the cabinetry for them ourselves: kitchen cabinets, vanities, closets, media walls, bars and custom millwork. A complete kitchen renovation with us covers the whole room: protection and strip-out, any repairs behind the old cabinets, new cabinets, countertop, backsplash and floor tile, the plumbing and electrical connections by licensed trades, then paint, trim and a final clean.

How we work

In your home, not in a showroom. There is no Kitchener showroom, by design. The first visit happens in your kitchen, where we can measure the walls that are really there, see how the room is used, and spot the problems a showroom never shows: the out-of-square corner, the soffit hiding a duct, the window that floods the counter with afternoon light.

Built in our own workshop. Your cabinets are made to those measurements in our workshop in Mississauga, Ontario, about an hour from Kitchener along Highway 401. Building them ourselves means the solution to an awkward wall is designed into the box instead of patched on site.

Installed by the same team. The people who build the cabinets install them, level them, anchor them and adjust them. When a question comes up on site, the answer is on site too.

One schedule, one written scope. The countertop, tile and licensed trades are booked into one schedule, and everything is written into an itemised scope: what we supply, what you supply, what is included and what is not. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall, the change is written down and priced before work continues.

Waterloo Region days. We group measures, site visits and deliveries in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge into set days. It keeps travel (which always appears as its own line on the quote) small, and it keeps the work organised.

What we will not do

We will not quote a kitchen we have not measured. We will not show you a price list that turns into a different number later. We will not publish a review we did not receive, use a stock photo as if it were our work, or claim a showroom, an address or a credential we do not have. When a project is not a good fit for us, we say so.

Our standards

Every renovation contract is in writing, as Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act requires for any job over $50. Our insurance, WSIB clearance and workmanship warranty are set out on our warranty and contracts page [TBC: documents and terms]. Our work is photographed on site and shown on our work; captions describe only what the photo shows.
