Who is responsible

Kitchen Renovation Kitchener, a registered business name in Ontario [TBC: business identification number], is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Questions and requests go to info@kitchenrenovationkitchener.ca. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quote: your name, phone number, email address, and what you choose to tell us: the project, the place, your postal code, a budget range, a timeline and a message. We use it to reply, to arrange a measure and to prepare your quote.

When you ask for the planning checklist: your email address and your consent. We use it to send the checklist and, if you agreed, occasional planning notes.

How you found us: if you arrived from an advertisement or a link with tracking codes (for example utm_source or a Google click identifier), the form sends those codes with your request so we know which advertising works. They are stored in your browser for up to 90 days.

To keep out spam: each form records the time it was opened and filled in, your IP address and your browser type, and may use Google reCAPTCHA, which assesses whether a request comes from a person. These checks are used only to block automated abuse.

Analytics: if Google Analytics is enabled on this site, it records pages viewed and general device information. We do not use it to identify you.

Who processes it for us

We do not sell or rent your information. It is processed by the services that run this website and our email: Cloudflare (hosting and email sending), Google (reCAPTCHA and, where enabled, Analytics) and our email provider. Their own privacy policies apply to what they process.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept while we discuss and carry out your project and for as long as needed for warranty and legal obligations afterwards. Checklist subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we must keep it by law.

Email and your consent

We send commercial email only with your consent, as Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires. Every email tells you how to stop further messages: reply “unsubscribe” or write to info@kitchenrenovationkitchener.ca, and we act on it within ten business days.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@kitchenrenovationkitchener.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies and browser storage

This site stores a small amount of information in your browser: how you arrived (for advertising attribution) and whether you have already seen or answered the checklist pop-up, so it does not keep appearing. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
